Name of Trip/Organization: VIDA Volunteer Nicaragua
Location of Trip: Nicaragua Duration of Stay: 2 weeks Description of the Trip: 10 day veterinary trip - 5 days were spent in rural communities providing basic care to cats and dogs through castration and deworming. This is very hands on experience, where you are allowed to do the surgeries with a vet watching you. It is also a great way to expose yourself to medicine in different countries, especially in communities where they cannot afford healthcare. You also get a couple field trips to see the beautiful country. Review of Experience: 10/10
